Ultra Scape Pro-Prime Slurry Primer

This cementitious slurry primer is designed to provide an exceptional bond between your tiles and the bedding mortar underneath. It can be used with many materials, including 20mm porcelain, natural stone and concrete pavers.It is suitable for commercial applications including pedestrians schemes, paths and drive/carriageways. It can take the weight of vehicles, depending on the tile. ✔ Simply mix with water✔ Quick and easy to apply ✔ Specially formulated for porcelain How to use This priming slurry should be applied both to the sub-base, before the mortar course is laid, and the underside of the tiles. Before application, ensure the tiles are cleaned to remove dust and loose material.Pour 7 litres of clean water into a bucket and slowly add all the primer powder. Mix for up to five minutes until a smooth and lump-free consistency is achieved.Soak the sub-base with water then apply a layer of slurry primer, 1 - 2 mm thick, using a brush or roller. You can then proceed with the layer of bedding mortar. The underside of the tiles must also be primed before being laid onto mortar.Any priming slurry on the face of your tiles should be wiped clean immediately. Coverage This 20kg sack will cover 15 m2 of tiles at 1 - 2 mm thickness.
