The warm checkerboard floor, done properly. Crema Marfil and Rojo Alicante are two of Spain's most celebrated marbles - a warm ivory and a rich terracotta red, both naturally veined. Together they create a floor with a warmth and character that cooler combinations simply can't match. Made from porcelain, so no sealing required and hardwearing enough for the busiest floors in the house.
